Boring “evangelism”

I'm writing this while in a Zoom meeting with the title, "Pioneering as a superintendent ". I've been in the Methodist ministry long enough to not be surprised that there has been no prayer or Bible reading to start the meeting. The aim is to talk about the "New Places for New People " initiative. I'm thinking we need a new initiative with a title like, "Jesus for New People". That might be effective as long as we have people who actually know Jesus and maybe even Spirit-filled people, possibly with a bit of knowledge of the Bible.

If Jesus, or evangelism, or salvation get mentioned I'll let you know, but don't hold your breath!
